so many memories with you that i did not translate into writing or picture. what a waste.  btw, happy new year! celebrating new year with new look. harris kicked off 2012 chapter with new hairdo : harris goes bald version 2.0! ( version 1.0 during his day 7th of life - part of religious rituals of which we are encouraged to do)
i was oncall on the 27th december. i came back the next day only to find my little prince had had a make over! i barely recognised him on the first glance. apparently, nenek ( harris' great grandmother) brought him to an Indian barber for a hair cut. the barber asked her wether she wanted no 1 or no 2( referring to the type of shaver's blades)  but she thought the two options were types of haircut and just randomly chose number one. in a matter of seconds, harris' hair on the parietal region was gone n that made my grandma to scream in horror. haahaha.
but Harris still looks cute and adorable. the hairless-do only highlights the mischievous part of you more :P:P

Harris' pioneer writing ( 02/11/11)

Last night, Harris surprised me big time. he took a pen and that letter from a bank which was lying on the bedside table then and scribbled those lines in front of me! don't know when and where he learns to hold the pen. probably when i was at work, as he spends most of his day time with my toddler cousin. his cognitive and neurodevelopmental achievement blossom exponentially these days. and oh, i should have mentioned in earlier post, he has learned how to sip from a straw too. We bought this bottle with one-way valve straw many months ago , only now he learns the wonder of  sipping from a straw.congratulation  son.

and that books were bought all the way from France by a friend of mine. Harris loves the pictures inside it. he flipped it eveyday so far. waiting for the day he d speak his first French word :)

14 mois

Ipad is so not blogger friendly. Been writing  blogposts several times only ended up with publishing error message and the server failed to retrieve what ever i have written. Anyway , today maman has the courage to write again( this time i'm using a proper laptop instead) as i'm quite free this fine Monday evening.

Since 1 week ago,petit harris  has achieved new milestone ; climbing a sofa. Felicitation mon petit! Fine motor wise, he is now able to build a tower of plastic glasses all by himself. He is also able to cap and uncap his own bottle:) although he still needs a helping hand to cap properly, but i guess the fact that he knows the bottle cap should be placed at where it should is an accomplishment worth mentioning. Socially, he is beyond adorable. He gets along with fellow todds very easilly. He loves big crowds especially those of which consist of young kids his age. his stranger anxiety has lessened.  The same goes to his cognitive development. He is very bright indeed.

In term of speech development, harris can say at least 2 recognised single syllable words, namely 'nak' and ' dah' ( which means 'want' and 'done' respectively).

That is an iceberg insight of my lovely little Harris at 14 month old :)

for the past three weeks he has been taking a few independent steps but today he really walks!

harris is One!

Happy birthday Harris!

you turned 1 year old yesterday. Maman and papa hosted a birthday party for you. a football themed party :D  well as it was still in holy month Ramadhan, whereby everyone is fasting we held an iftar instead. so most of our friends and relatives turned up at sunset to break fast ;-) you were dressed in Malaysia football jersey, and we bought you  a marvelous  custom-made football pitch cake ( though i wish they put liverpool badge on the cake ball instead of manchester united's)
we had a great time indeed.
and oh, i should also mention that a tooth finally emerged yesterday. a birthday tooth! hihihi.

Harris' new ride. Like Mick's:D he loves it a lot in almost every way: rocking, strolling, pushing. thanks Mick's mama for the recommendation ( well, sort of ) :D lepas ni the two of them can race together hehe.
